Stop throwing out the pulp, make use of it all. You can take your pulp and turn it into tasty treats. Pulp is a great base ingredient for tons of pastries, sauces and delicious confectionery. Here is one creative way to not waste the pulp. Take the pulp, add olive oil, water, salt, grated ginger, cumin and some flour to make a stiff dough. Roll it out between two pieces of baking paper until it is quite thin. With the dough still between the paper, use the back of a table knife to make squares running the knife side to side and up and down. Bake in a 200 degree oven 5-10 minutes on each side. Allow to cool and voila just like that you have your own crackers. You may need to play with the ingredients until you get them to be crisp without browning them too much.
